Selected screen context
Ask about the screen or region you choose.
Share a deliberate snapshot with your question when the answer depends on an interface, chart, code view or error message.
For people who need help interpreting visible work without manually describing every detail.
A snapshot, not continuous surveillance
You start screen capture and choose the context. Cernalo sends that image with the request you submit so a supported vision model can answer about it.
This is useful when copying text would remove layout, relationships or visual state that matter to the question.
Good questions for screen context
- Explain the visible error and identify the first safe diagnostic step.
- Summarize the main change shown in a chart without inventing causes.
- Describe the hierarchy of an unfamiliar interface before you act.
- Compare two visible approaches and list the trade-offs to verify.
Review before you share
A screenshot can contain names, messages, account numbers or other sensitive details. Crop to the smallest useful region and close or cover information the model does not need.
Cernalo does not promise that an answer is correct. Verify important output against the source material on screen.
Questions
Can I capture only part of the screen?
Yes. Cernalo supports a user-selected region as well as a screen capture.
Where does the screenshot go?
The selected image is sent to the Cernalo API and then to the configured AI provider required for that request.
Is the Cernalo overlay guaranteed to be hidden from screen sharing?
No. An optional operating-system control may exclude the overlay from some captures, but it is not guaranteed and does not make the app undetectable.
