Capture starts with you
Selecting Meeting mode does not start microphone or screen capture. Start microphone transcription only when it is appropriate and permitted, or type the notes and question yourself.
On Windows, Cernalo does not capture system or meeting audio. It is not a bot that joins a call.
Useful meeting prompts
- Summarize the decision, owner and due date from these notes.
- List the unanswered questions before the meeting ends.
- Rewrite this follow-up so assumptions and commitments are explicit.
- Separate confirmed decisions from proposals that still need approval.
Respect consent and confidentiality
Follow workplace rules and applicable consent requirements before using a microphone or sharing meeting content. Remove private customer, employee or business information that is not needed for the answer.

Does Cernalo join Zoom or Microsoft Teams meetings?
No. Cernalo is a desktop assistant and does not join as a meeting participant.
Does it capture Windows system audio?
No. The current Windows application does not capture system or meeting audio.
Does choosing Meeting mode start recording?
No. Microphone and screen capture begin only when you start them.
