Cernalo

Windows AI assistant

An AI assistant for the work on your Windows desktop.

Ask by text, speak through local microphone transcription, or select screen context without moving your work into a separate browser workflow.

For Windows users who want one focused assistant for coding, meetings, research and everyday questions.

Work from the context you choose

Cernalo sits beside the application already open on your desktop. Type a question, start microphone transcription, or capture a screen or region when visual context matters.

A capture is included only with the request you submit. Screen and microphone capture do not start automatically.

Choose a mode for the task

General, Coding, Meeting, Sales, Research and Screen modes give the assistant a clearer job. Modes change the instructions used for the answer; they do not perform work silently in the background.

  • Use Coding for explanations, debugging questions and trade-off analysis.
  • Use Research to compare claims, identify assumptions and organize a topic.
  • Use Screen when the visible interface, chart or error is the important context.

Know the boundaries before you install

Cernalo is currently distributed for Windows through the Microsoft Store. AI requests require an internet connection because selected context is sent through the Cernalo API to a configured AI provider.

Windows meeting mode does not capture system audio. Microphone transcription is user-started and runs locally with the bundled Whisper runtime; performance varies by hardware.
